Over in Tamil Nadu lots of protest going against NEET Exam. Medical Council of India (MCI) cancelled the admission of 778 students in MBBS course at four deemed universities and three private medical colleges and hospitals in the Union territory. Monitoring sub-committee of MCI detected deficiencies in admission of MBBS students during the last academic year in deemed universities and private medical colleges.
Complaint filed by the Puducherry UT All Centac Students Parents Association in which the accused and probe to be found that 1,200 students who joined the bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery, or MBBS, in 2016. And among them 778 were admitted overlooking the top court’s directives on the national eligibility-cum-entrance test (NEET). The Council had directed the Secretary Health and Director of Health Sciences to ensure that the students who are not selected by the Centac. And also said these details has been submitted within two weeks.
